About Curt Sigfstead
Curt Sigfstead focuses many of his efforts on board activities with nonprofit and charitable groups. Having attended the private boarding institution Shawnigan Lake School in British Columbia in the early 1980s, Curt Sigfstead achieved “head of school” distinction. He currently serves on the school’s board of directors. He is also a Brown University graduate and has contributed to his alma mater through fundraising activities.
Mr. Sigfstead’s charitable focus extends to a position on the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks’ board of directors. The organization provides food to more than 225,000 people each year, including 11,000 children, and delivers approximately 100,000 meals on a daily basis. Mr. Sigfstead’s recent volunteer activities include serving on the 15th Reunion Fundraising Committee of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his MBA. Curt Sigfstead enjoys family activities in his free time, including tennis and skiing.
